Jewish Art By Mordechai Rosenstein

While studying at The Philadelphia College of Art, Abstract Expressionist professor Franz Kline profoundly influenced Rosenstein. By uniting his interest in Judaica and painting, Rosenstein gave a contemporary meaning to the art of Hebrew calligraphy. A leading lithographer, the themes of his pieces are Jewish occasions, prayers and writings. He also designs stained glass windows for synagogues all over the United States along with ark doors and Torah mantels.
