For the modern bride this art deco style ivory glass is layered with hand crushed clear rainbow dichroic art glass. The mezuzah has two separate glass tubes, one for the mezuzah scroll and one into which you place the broken shards from your wedding glass. No need to send us the broken glass! As each piece is handmade and unique, no two will be exactly alike. A raised pewter shin and decorative end caps on the tubes make this piece elegant and eye-catching. Pre-Drilled holes and brass screws are included for easy mounting. This case will hold a scroll up to 7 cm long, which is sold separately. The piece is shown filled with broken glass and scroll for display only. This mezuzah case is appropriate for indoor or outdoor use.
About the Artist: Israeli born artist Tamara Baskin has brought the fine art of fused glass to Judaica. She painstakingly places pieces of cut glass and iridescent metals between fused glass. Her pieces dazzle and shine.
