Indoor base had industrial strength suction cups meant to adhere to indoor floors. Outdoor base utilizes an easy to install ground insert for use in grass or firm soil. Ground insert can be covered for yearly reuse. If the menorah will displayed on impenetrable ground, i.e. cement or pavement, the indoor base can be used but should be weighted down to prevent being blown over from strong winds.
