Jerusalem Stained Glass Menorah

Jerusalem Stained Glass Menorah
This Item Is Discontinued

The flame in the center of the Jerusalem menorah is the eternal light, the ner tamid. The ner tamid, a continuous light in front of the ark , also symbolizes the eternal faith of the Jewish people. The flame, overlooking the city, is a safeguard to keep the city of Jerusalem safe in the eyes of the artist. What a marvelous gift this would be to light up any home at the time of the celebration of Hanukkah.

The menorah is constructed as a traditional stained glass panel. Each piece of glass is patterned, hand cut, ground on a grinding machine, wrapped in copper, fitted in place, and then soldered. The nine candle holders are adhered to the base - one for each of the eight nights of Hanukkah and one, the shammos, to light the other candles. The wood base shown is no longer available and a glass base has been substituted
