This sleek matzah plate from Shraga Landesman has a curved edge that mimics the waves of the Red Sea. The text etched into the metal plate read "This is the bread of affliction that our forefathers ate in the land of Egypt " in Hebrew letters and features a school of fish.
Artist's statement: "My spiritual sources are the Bible and the ancient cultures that lived in the region. A disappearing world that I miss which does not exist anymore.
