WITH OUR NATURE-INSPIRED ACCESSORIES
Shabbat is always sweeter as the evenings grow longer. If you’re lucky you’ll have fireflies adding to the twinkling glow of late-lit candles. It’s always fun to change up your Shabbat table seasonally. Summer calls out for colorful linens and nature-inspired accessories that can join you on the patio or even for a picnic.
Here are some of our favorite summery Shabbat products:
Swap out the more formal candle holders for these whimsical Water Lily tea light votives by Quest Collection. Float them on a rustic wooden side table surrounded by loose vines and petals. The fanciful matchbox holder by Dorit Klein is laser cut in a pattern of pomegranates, doves, and vines, and inset with a red Swarowski crystal.
Continue the naturalistic theme with this grapevine-entwined Kiddush cup by legendary Israeli artisan Yair Emanuel. The cup and plate are crafted in hammered polished aluminum with a copper stem and golden grape details. It pairs beautifully with the matching rustic challah board, inscribed with the Hebrew blessing over the bread. Use a coordinating pomegranate-inspired knife, also by Yair Emanuel, or keep it simple and organic with this bamboo-handled bread knife. This Seven Species challah cover brings everything together for a summery Shabbat evening. [Go all in with the salt, too! Rustic shaker by Dorit Klein. Matching pepper shaker included, not shown.]
Kiss Shabbat goodbye with this nature-inspired havdallah set by Quest, which we think would be at home in a desert tent. Throw in a few exotic spices, like cardamom, close your eyes, and indulge in a mid-summer’s night dream.
