The Jerusalem Wine Fountain features a modern-traditional design inspired by the beautiful landscape of Jerusalem’s golden hills. The 10-piece silver masterpiece is rich in color, design, and meaning. The smooth, reflective silver surfaces offset the enamel decorations perfectly, adding an additional element of modern class to an age-old tradition. The large kiddush cup is adorned with a gorgeous enamel outline of Jerusalem’s cityscape. It is set above 8 mini liquor cups in an octagonal pattern. Wine flows evenly and slowly from the kiddush cup’s podium through chutes which are covered by ornate enamel grapes for stylish and functional pouring. The interior of the cups is coated in gold to preserve the quality and taste of the wine.

About the Artist: Avi Nadav, a third generation silversmith, was trained at the Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem. His workshop in Jerusalem makes handcrafted traditional silverware, along with a modern line of Judaica, tableware and jewelry made of anodized aluminium.
