Hanukkah Is Heading Our Way!

The leaves have barely begun to fall off the trees, but don’t let that fool you! Winter is closer than you think, and Hanukkah, the light of the winter season, is coming soon. Hanukkah is one of the most celebrated holidays of the Jewish calendar, and at Judaica.com we are already busy preparing for the upcoming Hanukkah season.

The Hanukkah story took place thousands of years ago in the land of Israel. After a small band of Jewish Maccabees miraculously defeated the powerful Syrian-Greek army, the Jews reclaimed the holy Temple in Jerusalem. The Maccabees cleaned and reconsecrated the vessels and relit the Temple candelabra, called a menorah. Although there was only enough oil left to burn in the menorah for one day, the oil burned for eight full days until new oil could reach the Temple.

To commemorate these miracles, the central observance of Hanukkah is the nightly lighting of our own menorahs. To brighten your Hannukah this year, we have curated a selection of menorahs from acclaimed artists in a variety of styles and motifs to suit every taste. Why not bring some light into your Hannukah with a brand new one? Even better, bring some light into the life of a friend or loved one with a menorah that perfectly complements his or her style!

4. Outdoor Menorah With Enclosure

With a taste of the Old World, the Outdoor Menorah with Enclosure by Karshi is a harmonious blend of old and new. For centuries, Jews lit menorahs outside their homes, publicizing the Hanukkah miracle. To prevent the flames from blowing out, the menorahs were encased in ventilated boxes. Karshi’s innovative design integrates a menorah into a sleek, stainless steel and glass case for a look that is both modern and classic. The doors at the front of the enclosure open wide for easy lighting, then close securely to protect the flames. Light outside in tradition and style with this beautiful piece.

5. Chrome Plated Electric Menorah With Flickering Bulbs
