Why we decorate the sukkah
It’s actually a mitzvah to decorate your Sukkah! On Sukkot, we spend eight days in the Sukkah. In keeping with the holiday's festive atmosphere, we want that time to be enjoyable. For that reason, Sukkahs are beautifully decorated from roof to walls. Decorating your Sukkah is a way to engage tradition while making lasting memories with your family.
