A stunning tree of life in rich colors of layered fused art glass. In the Torah, the Tree of Life symbolizes the Jewish people. The Roots are our ancestors, the Trunk corresponds to the people of Israel who were redeemed from Egypt, the Branches represent the tribes of Israel, and the Fruit are the good deeds performed by each Jewish soul. Each piece is hand cut and assembled, fired and slumped in our studio. No two are exactly alike.
About the Artist: Handmade and signed by artist Tamara Baskin. Israeli born artist Tamara Baskin has brought the fine art of fused glass to Judaica. She painstakingly places pieces of cut glass and iridescent metals between and on top of fused glass.
