In this limited edition serigraph, Hedva Firenci depicts a ballet dancer dressed in blue. The impressionistic style and balletic theme is vaguely reminiscent of notable French artist Edgar Degas. The use of perspective puts the focus on the central dancer's movement, whilst the young woman in the back fades into the background. The heroine's gaze is cast downward, as she focuses on her fondu (the bend of her supporting leg), and the pointe of her working foot. The the use of the vivid blue, creates a sharp contrast, alluding the central tenant of ballet, muscular opposition. The serigraph is printed on paper and signed by the artist in the bottom right corner.
