Blue 54 Portions Tallit by Pardes Designs

$284.00

The Torah consists of 54 Parashot (Torah portions). Every week another Parsha portion is read and the full cycle is read over the course of one year. The names of the Parashot are written in Hebrew. On each side of the Tallit there are 7 stripes that represent the 6 days of Creation and Shabbat - the seventh day. The Hebrew letters Nun and Dalet are on the stripes. It’s the numeric value of 54 Parashot. Under the names of the Parashot there are 4 stripes representing our foremothers. And the 3 stripes above represent our forefathers. Our patriarchs and matriarchs are the foundation of our existence that started thousands of years ago. You are part of this lineage. You are the strong link that will strengthen the chain and secure its continuity into the future. This tallit includes a matching tallit bag.
