Seven Species Embroidered Challah Cover by Yair Emanuel

This challah cover is designed and produced by the Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel. The designs are based on the combination of traditional classical motifs, the inspiration of ancient Jewish manuscripts, and modern and Oriental ones. These designs create a "new old" look. On this challah cover, the artist Yair Emanuel designed verses related to the Sabbath, as well as wheat, grapes and pomegranates, symbolizing the Jewish tradition of blessing and abundance. The challah cover is made from cotton and polyester.
