In this limited edition serigraph Baruch Greenbaum depicts Yemin Moshe. Yemin Moshe is a historic neighbourhood in Jerusalem, overlooking the old city. The perspective and the vividness of colour in this print serves to highlight the vibrancy of the biblical tradition. The dissonance between the contemporary style and traditional theme illustrates the interplay between secular societal trends and the upkeep of traditional Judaic culture. This juxtaposition is furthered by the modern dress of the crowd, and contrasted against the ancient architecture. The serigraph is printed on paper and signed by the artist at the bottom.
